    - The Republic Tower -

Hard Hat Tour & Happy Hour

    PROGRAM INFORMATION:

Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of The Republic, one of Austin’s most striking additions to the downtown skyline. Rising 48 stories, The Republic is a bold expression of modern design, engineering ingenuity, and construction excellence—offering a rare opportunity to explore a landmark project before its doors open to tenants.

Led by the key stakeholders behind the project—including HKS (Architect), Harvey-Cleary Builders (General Contractor), and other project partners—this guided tour will dive into the vision, challenges, and innovations that brought this Class A office tower to life.

    Tour Highlights:

    • Architectural Vision: Discover how HKS designed The Republic to balance elegance, sustainability, and functionality—featuring a dramatic canopy, activated public plaza, and breathtaking views of Lady Bird Lake.

    • Structural Ingenuity: Explore the engineering solutions behind the building’s distinct form, including its offset core, large column-free floor plates, and the signature crown that defines its presence on the skyline.

    • Construction Excellence: Learn how Harvey-Cleary navigated a constrained urban site, complex logistics, and rising material costs to deliver a high-rise project on time and to spec.

    • Sustainability and Wellness: Hear about the project’s targeted LEED Gold and Austin Energy Green Building certifications, other energy efficiency features, and a wellness-forward design that supports the needs of modern tenants.

    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Gain insights into the coordination between Owner, Architect, Contractor, and City stakeholders to bring The Republic from concept to reality.

Whether you’re an architect, engineer, contractor, owner’s rep, or simply passionate about Austin’s ever-evolving built environment, this tour offers a firsthand look at a project that reflects the future of commercial development in the city.

Space is limited to 40 participants.

REGISTER early to secure your spot on this hard-hat tour of one of the most talked-about towers in Texas.

Since this is still in active construction, PPE is required (hard hat, vest, safety glasses, and closed-toe shoes). Some PPE will be available, but please bring your own, if possible.

    OVERVIEW

I-LinCP’s bi-annual Texas Public Owners Forum (TPOF) is for Owners, by Owners. This one-of-a-kind event provides public-entity Project Owners in Texas a platform to connect, exchange best practices, explore innovative strategies, and address challenges with peers and industry experts. By bringing together architects, engineers, contractors, and all stakeholders in the design and construction process, the Forum fosters collaboration to drive success in public projects.

At I-LinCP, we’re passionate about uniting all project stakeholders to build shared understanding and practical solutions. Join us and be a part of a conversation that shapes the future of public projects in Texas!

    ABOUT THIS FORUM

Do you feel weighed down by the complexities of getting projects from concept to completion? Ever wish you had the ultimate playbook to overcome bottlenecks, streamline processes, and achieve results? The 2025 Texas Public Owners Forum is here to answer that call. With the theme “Get It Done: Insights, Innovations, Implementation,” this forum focuses on the actionable steps, proven strategies, and practical tools needed to take projects from vision to reality.

Through dynamic discussions, case studies, and interactive sessions, you'll learn what it really takes to get projects across the finish line—efficiently, effectively, and collaboratively. This is your chance to hear directly from Texas public Owners and design and construction experts who understand the realities of managing complex public projects and have a track record of success.

    WHY ATTEND

Public projects demand more than just good ideas—they require decisive action, collaborative problem-solving, and innovative thinking. At this year’s Forum, you will:

    • Learn from Experience: Dive into real-world stories of how public Owners tackled tough challenges and delivered transformative projects.
    • Get Actionable Insights: Discover innovative methods, tools, and practices to improve your project planning, design, and execution.
    • Collaborate for Success: Engage with fellow Owners and industry professionals to share ideas and build the connections that will help you succeed.
    • Ask the Experts: Participate in our popular “Ask an Owner” panel, where you’ll have the chance to pose your pressing questions to a lineup of seasoned public Owners.

    DON’T MISS OUT!

Whether you’re navigating early planning, managing delivery challenges, or optimizing project outcomes, this Forum is your toolkit for getting it done. From innovative technologies and contracting strategies to overcoming regulatory hurdles, this event covers it all. Together, we’ll explore how to cut through obstacles and deliver impactful projects for our communities.
