Genest Landry, Assistant Director
Genest Landry is an Assistant Director in the City of Austin’s Capital Delivery Services Department, where she oversees the Architectural, Civil, Utility, and Construction Management Divisions responsible for delivering the infrastructure that supports Austin’s growth. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Genest began her career in structural bridge design before expanding into multimodal and people-centered transportation projects, managing complex initiatives from planning through construction. Since joining the City in 2017, she has advanced through roles as Project Manager, Supervisor, and Division Manager, bringing a strong technical foundation and a commitment to public service to every project.
