2026 INVEST IN WOMEN'S FORUM:

The 2026 Invest in Women Forum: "Lights, Camera, Action" is seeking dynamic speakers to lead keynotes, presentations, panels, and workshops at our milestone 10th Annual Invest in Women Forum (IIWF), taking place January 22, 2025 - a dynamic event celebrating and advancing the role of women in capital projects, leadership, business, and trades.

This forum will spotlight stories of success, innovation, and impact. We invite YOU to contribute to this powerful dialogue from the big stage as we celebrate 10 years of Investing in, Innovating with, and Inspiring women!

This unique forum offers a space for everyone—from executives to those just beginning their careers—to engage in active, hands-on sessions and participate in vibrant networking with some of the best and brightest in the AEC industry.

In true I-LinCP Forum style, we encourage learning through participation. Keynotes become table participants, and table participants become presenters, ensuring that attendees actively assimilate what they’re learning and engage with one another on a deeper level.

Speaker Criteria:

We are seeking inspiring, knowledgeable, and engaging speakers who can offer insights, strategies, and stories aligned with the following KEY FOCUS AREAS:

Investing in Women:

  1. Mentorship, Training, Apprenticeship, Professional Development
  2. Women-led investments, gender equity in funding and procurement
  3. Economic empowerment and financial literacy
Women in Trades:
  1. Career pathways and mentorship in skilled trades
  2. Overcoming barriers in industry
  3. Workforce development and apprenticeship programs

Leadership and influence:

  1. Executive leadership and board participation
  2. Leading through change and innovation
  3. Personal branding and professional growth

Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging:

  1. Creating inclusive workplace cultures
  2. Intersectionality and diverse leadership
  3. Policy advocacy and systemic change

Philanthropic and Business Success:

  1. Women entrepreneurs and business leaders
  2. Social impact through philanthropy
  3. Building sustainable and inclusive enterprises. 


SPEAKER FORMATS:

We welcome proposals in the following formats:

  • Individual speaker presentations (20-30 mins)
  • Panel Discussions (30-40 mins, 3-4 speakers + moderator)
  • Interactive Workshops (Optional, 45-60 mins)


SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Please include the following in your proposal: 

  • Speaker Name(s), Title(s), and Organization(s)
  • Session Title/Theme
  • Abstract (300-500 words) - clearly describe the session's purpose, key takeaways, relevance to the forum themes, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Speaker Bio (150-300 words each)
  • Preferred Format (Individual, Panel, Workshop)
  • Target Audience (e.g. emerging leaders, tradeswomen, etc.)
  • Optional: Links to past speaking engagements or videos


IMPORTANT DATES:

Notification of Acceptance: October 17, 2025

Event Date: January 22, 2026
