    SPEAKER:

    DESCRIPTION:

    The Renovation:

A new terminal (Terminal F) will be added to the Southwest corner of the DFW International Airport.

    Design:

A 1,000,000 s.f. terminal, modeled very similar to Terminal B, will be constructed. The new terminal will be made of concrete and reinforced steel. The new terminal will have 35 gates. The terminal will have the glass exterior walls just like the other terminals, however will utilize solar windows which would be capable of providing about 1/18th of the daily energy usage in the entire airport. Though the use of these windows will come at a considerable extra cost, this will be balanced out in savings after years of use.

    SCHEDULE:

    11:30 - 12:00  Early-bird Networking / Check-in
    12:00-1:00  Presentation / Q&A
