5:45 – 7:30 p.m. - View exhibits, appetizers and cash bar (first drink is on us!)

6:30-6:40 p.m. – Welcome and Introduction to the Institute for Leadership in Capital Projects (I-LinCP)

6:40 – 7:20 - Meaningful networking using the "8-Minute Ripple." Through this form of interaction, participants develop a truer appreciation for the people they meet, discover potential connection points, common interests and opportunities for further interaction. 7:30 – 8:30  - Viewing of "A Well Made Object" short film on the architecture of Howard Meyer.

This short film by filmmaker J. Mitchell Johnson is devoted to the life and work of iconic architect Howard Meyer, designer of Temple Emanu-el and 3525 Turtle Creek Boulevard.  Spearheaded by Meyer friend and client Carolyn Clark, the film was completed in rough form in 1993.  It has now been updated utilizing additional interview footage and HD footage of Meyer's work.

The film will be followed by a discussion with architects and historians, including Mark Gunderson.

Parking at the DCFA: We are located on the westbound Woodall Rodgers Freeway service road between Harwood and St. Paul.  There is limited parking available in front of the building.  Parking is also available in the lot behind the Texas Credit Union building, accessible from Harwood Street.  Paid parking garages within walking distance are at the Advancial Building (1845 Woodall Rodgers Freeway) and the Crescent Court (Pearl and McKinney).

NOTE: THE PEARL STREET EXIT FROM EASTBOUND WOODALL RODGERS IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO PARK CONSTRUCTION.  FOR DETAILED DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE CALL US.
