Houston Zoo Tour & Holiday Happy Hour:

The Houston Zoo is a 55-acre zoological park located within Hermann Park in Houston, Texas, United States. The zoo houses over 6,000 animals from more than 600 species. It receives 2.1 million visitors each year and is the second most visited zoo in the United States, surpassed only by the San Diego Zoo

The newly completed Galapagos Island exhibit is the first major exhibit of its kind to showcase the remarkable wildlife of the legendary island chain, the Houston Zoo’s Galápagos Islands immerses guests in an environment evoking the archipelago’s unique landscapes and oceanic habitats. No place on our planet better exemplifies the wonders of unique species, the delicate balance of ecosystems, or the pressing need for conservation action than the Galápagos

Join staff from the Houston Zoo’s Design & Engineering and Sustainability departments along with members from the project design team at Walter P. Moore for a presentation on the Zoo’s sustainable practices and tour of Zoo facilities, including the new Galapagos Island exhibit.  See how the Zoo’s design and operations help minimize the organization’s environmental footprint in order to save wildlife. 

Following the tour, participants will receive brief access to TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights until 5:30PM. We will then meet at a Davis Street, 5925 Almeda Rd, Ste A, near the Zoo for a Holiday Networking Happy Hour!
