Program Purpose
Join us at this evening program, including a short downtown walking tour and a high-level look at the Downtown Brownsville Master Plan and Revitalization, a city-led initiative shaping the future of Brownsville’s historic core. This presentation will highlight the big-picture vision for a more connected, walkable, and vibrant downtown—focused on residential growth, catalytic public spaces, pedestrian corridors, and strategic infrastructure investment.
Attendees will gain insight into both near-term improvements already underway and longer-term concepts being explored, including ideas to better unify downtown districts, support economic development, and align utilities, mobility, and placemaking with future growth. This is a unique opportunity to understand what’s coming next for Downtown Brownsville and how it fits into broader regional and statewide capital planning conversations.
