Leadership in COLLABORATIVE Project Delivery (LinCPD)

Certificate Program

Inspire. Motivate. Influence.

Execute. Lead. Innovate.

Our Leadership in Collaborative Project Delivery certificate program will help you build the confidence, skills and presence you need to lead your team and your projects to success.

Register here (no upfront payment)!

Why this program?  Delivering construction projects requires skills in teamwork, problem solving, and conflict resolution to keep projects on time and in budget while realizing the Owner’s project requirements.  Effective, collaborative leadership is critical to making that happen.  We also recognize that our industry is in a period of radical change as organizations deal with the loss of a retiring skilled workforce and the need to elevate a new generation of project leaders.  We are offering a way to develop EFFECTIVE leaders now and for the future.

It's not just how to build, but how to survive in a building industry.

This program will:

  • Give current leaders updated and improved leadership knowledge and skills.
  • Prepare talented employees to become effective as future leaders.
  • Provide an AEC/O industry-specific project leadership certification built on real-world experience and best practices.
  • Build and support improved collaboration, diversity, and inclusion in our industry.

Benefits of participation:

Participants will acquire skills and tools to use collaborative team engagement to deal with the challenges and complexity of getting positive project results. Organizations will realize more confident staff while developing leaders for the future and empowering project teams to work cohesively with a high level of commitment to positive results. Participants will:

  • Gain a comprehensive perspective on how to be a successful leader in the AEC/O industry.
  • Understand their personal leadership style and its impacts on team development.
  • Improve collaboration, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Develop or enhance their ability to lead within their teams and organizations while working to achieve goals and visions.
  • Be equipped to successfully deliver essential services and products for clients and stakeholders.
  • Learn tools and techniques to build and support robust work groups that have the resiliency to respond to our rapidly changing industry.

What’s special about this program?  (DOWNLOAD THE INDUSTRY ISSUES ADDRESSED HERE)

  • While there are many leadership programs out there, this program is custom designed for those involved in the construction industry.
  • This is a very active and interactive program where information on approaches, skills and tools is immediately applied to real-work situations through case studies, discussions, problem solving, class exercises and skill practice.
  • Participants will receive specific information about their leadership style, strengths and support for areas of development.
  • It uses a broad-based leadership model that focuses on the dimensions, commitments and practices for a successful leader in the construction arena.
  • Provides an opportunity to learn from leadership experts and industry peers.
  • It provides direct application by carrying out and presenting a “Capstone Project” that applies program learning to a real-life work situation.
