  • Future of prefab in the AEC industry

About our presenters:
Hans Clemmensen, Project Manager,  SKANSKA, is part of the team of project managers responsible for the construction management of the new $1.2 billion Charity Hospital Replacement. He is a leader in the innovative prefabrication process, and currently presides over Skanska’s commissioning responsibility for systems in the diagnostic treatment and inpatient towers of this project. Mr. Clemmensen brings 15+ years of management experience from several multi-million dollar projects across the Southeast.

Carlos Moreno, Principal, RVK Architects, has over 25 years of experience, focused in several areas associated with Research/Development and Healthcare planning and design, including the issue of Transitional Living. He is the Architectural community liaison/committee member of the Healthcare Partnership. Active in the community and serves as 2014 Chair of the AIA-San Antonio Healthcare Knowledge Community; an association strictly dedicated to the continued exploration of trends and services to healthcare patients, practitioners and service providers. Carlos continues to maintain a large focus on the “patient experience and outcomes” and it is this focus that bears his interest as a Board member and Vice President of The Patient Institute.

Justin Bowker, P.E., TDIndustries, manages the Engineering Team at TDIndustries. The Engineering Team is responsible for Design-Build, Design-Assist, and problem solving for some of the most complex Healthcare, Mission Critical, and Commercial projects at TDIndustries. A LEED accredited professional, he earned his BS in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.  Understanding how the mechanical contractor can best collaborate with a Consulting Engineer on a Design-Assist or IPD project to efficiently deliver a project that exceeds the owner’s expectations is an area of deep interest. TDIndustries is a mechanical subcontractor founded in 1946 and is based in Dallas, TX with branches across the southwest US.
