Speaker:

David Yelacic, Cultural Resources Lead and
Principal Investigator, Terracon Consultants




David Yelacic has practiced archaeology for 14 years and has served as Cultural Resources Lead and Principal Investigator for the last five years at Terracon Consultants. He has helped the practice grow from one cultural resources professional in San Antonio to nine across the state by successfully navigating clients and projects through the sometimes complicated process of compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations. He earned degrees in Anthropology and Geography from Texas State University focusing on topics of North American Archaeology and Geoarchaeology, and he is active in regional and statewide archaeological societies.
