Volunteer River Clean‑Up & NBS Flood Control Tour

Join I-LinCP and the San Antonio River Authority prior to our Lone Star Sustainability Forum for a hands-on volunteer river clean-up along the San Antonio River, paired with an optional educational nature-based solution flood control tour.

This event offers Lone Star Sustainability Forum participants and I-LinCP Members an opportunity to support local environmental stewardship efforts while learning about regional flood management and sustainability initiatives.

WHEN:

• 8:30 AM – Arrival and Welcome / Overview of Park, Cleanup, and Tour (Tacos/Coffee/Juice)

• 9:00 - 10:00 AM – River Clean-up Activity (13 years old+) / Activity for younger participants.
• 10:00 - 11:30 AM – Tour of Confluence Park and discussion of Mission Reach’s Nature-based Infrastructure for rainwater collection / use and flood control.
